Beijing Olympics: What they don't want you to know

Ya, I watched a portion of the opening ceremony, and I've been watching some of the competition.

The opening ceremony has been praised as spectacular. The fireworks coordination, the cute little girl who sang her heart out. Even the massive audience attendance at both the opening and the games themselves.

However....

~ Did you know that the fireworks were pre-recorded?

~ Did you know that the cute little girl only lip-sink'd to another girls voice. That girl was not allowed to be seen because she wasn't cute enough.

~ How about the spectacular crowds, well think again: "China drafts in spectators"

All this doesn't surprise me much. Like I said in the previous post, the Chinese people are wonderful. They should be proud of their athletes, the beauty of there country and traditions.

Their government on the other hand seems to control them with an iron fist. The Chinese people truly deserve better.
