This number is down from 45.5 million in 2003.
This is good news? 41 million? We should be happy?
Most of these occur in China... no suprise there.
Worldwide annual death toll from abortion: 41.6 million
A new report by the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute-- named after a president of Planned Parenthood-- has found that the worldwide number of abortions fell from 45.5 million in 1995 to 41.6 million in 2003, a decline of 8.6%.

Remember that number when you ask yourself if you support this new health bill.... which supports abortions paid for by you and me.
Abortion is the New Big Mac
President Obama and his pro-abortion acolytes often say things like "I believe that most women don't make that (abortion) decision lightly."
Can we just be done with that one? Really.

ObamaCare Abortions: A Case For Sherlock Holmes

The push is on to brush aside the concern of us pro-lifers that the proposed health care bill provides for abortions to be paid by every tax payer regardless of their stance on the life issue.
"There is nothing in the proposed bill that says it will pay for abortions"
And you know, they are correct. It doesn't spell out if it does or if it doesn't.
But along with that factoid is another fact they will not mention. The fact that 'eleven times, pro-life amendments were offered in committee, amendments were voted down. Pro-life Democrats joined Republicans in voting for these protective amendments. But they could not prevail.' They were voted out.
This looks like a case for Sherlock Homes.
Many of us remember the Sherlock Holmes story we read in high school. A famous racehorse is stolen from a barn at night. The barn was guarded by a dog.
Scotland Yard, England's famous police headquarters, sends Inspector Gregory to investigate, but Sherlock Holmes was on the case.
Inspector Gregory: "Is there any other point to which you would wish to draw my attention?" Holmes: "To the curious incident of the dog in the night-time." Gregory: "The dog did nothing in the night-time." Holmes: "That was the curious incident."
