Pope Francis and Homosexuality

So the media is a buzz with Pope Francis 80 minute interview with the media. And as can be expected the media is doing what it does best

...DISTORT THE NEWS...DISTORT THE MESSAGE

Yet people are willing to swallow whatever the media feeds them without questioning their sources or looking at other reliable sources.

In a way I'm kind of confused why the Holy Father would expect anything different, but be that as it may, the Holy Father hasn't said anything different than what the Catholic Church has taught for 2000 years.

Portuguese Bishop teaches against Church teachings

Something needs to be done about this Bishop. I hope B16 is aware of this the mis-teaching of Bishop Januário Torgal Ferreira.

I hope he is being mis-quoted or the translation is incorrect.

.... I hope.

The Church welcomes homosexuals, in fact. As long as they do not practice their homosexuality...

It is certain that a homosexual couple is not theoretical, isn't it? And affections are translated through this practice, through this psychic-affective fusion of mysterious unity that is the human being.

The Church must understand this?

Valentines Day Movie: The Moral Relativism of Anne Hathaway

I watched the 'Valentines Day' movie this weekend along with hundreds of other valentine conscience husbands and boyfriends.

...and It was all I expected. Love stories with a twist staring various leading actors and actresses.

Ms. Anne Hathaway playing the character of a struggling resent college graduate with student loans up the gazzoo. She manages to hold down a part time office job while juggling a 'phone-for-sex' hotline. A bit of entrepreneurship and moral relativism she learned in college, perhaps?

Well, it seems Ms. Hathaway is closer to that moral relativist character in real life than we think.

She has stated that because the Catholic Church has teachings that are contrary to her real brother's chosen life style...

"The whole family converted to Episcopalianism after my elder brother came out," she tells the magazine. "Why should I support an organization that has a limited view of my beloved brother?"

...she must leave the church. Limited view of her brother? I don't think the Catholic church has anything personal against her brother. Now the homosexual life style is another thing.

Sir Ian McKleen: Tears out Pages from Bibles

(photo: internet)
This seems rather strange. And he even admits this.

Why you may ask?

Why would Gandalf do such a thing?

Well, because certain pages of the Word don't agree with his life style, specifically Leviticus 18:22.

Hello, Sir Mckleen just because you deface the bible and tear out it's pages, won't delete the word of God.

Evidently it make him feel good to deny others to read the full Work from Hotel bibles.

Do they still supply bibles at hotels?

When openly gay actor Sir Ian McKellen (Gandalf in Lord of the Rings, among other memorable roles) stays in a hotel with a Bible in the nightstand drawer, he rips out pages that contain a certain passage from Leviticus, according to a new interview with the actor by Details magazine.
