I was at the local book store this weekend, browsing thru some of the new releases and I came across this one. (Amazon link)
This is a true story of a family from San Diego who spent 18mo at see; the adventure of living on a 55ft 'Cat' and the disaster that nearly took their father's life.
I did a little Internet research and found the original newspaper story with an abridged recount of their tale.
