Former President Carter - What's the....?

Carter: "I think an overwhelming portion of the intensely demonstrated animosity toward President Barack Obama is based on the fact that he is a black man, that he's African-American," Carter told NBC News. "I live in the South, and I've seen the South come a long way, and I've seen the rest of the country that shares the South's attitude toward minority groups at that time, particularly African-Americans."

"That racism inclination still exists, and I think it's bubbled up to the surface because of belief among many white people -- not just in the South but around the country -- that African-Americans are not qualified to lead this great country. It's an abominable circumstance, and it grieves me and concerns me very deeply,"

For a Former President of the United States to say such nonsense is very disappointing. He can't see into the minds of individuals and make the claim of racism.

What he's really saying is 'if you disagree with President Obama you're a racist'.

If anything he is only stoking the fires of racism and encouraging those advocates of using such language to further divide the nation. The cries of racism is the new political tool for those that want to silence ANY opposition to this present administration's agenda.

President Obama should come out publicly and condemn such talk.

The use of the 'race' card by anyone including the MSM and especially the former president will be disastrous for the nation.

The more Carter expresses his thoughts like these, the more I'm disillusioned and the less I hold this former president Carter as a credible representative of the United States.
