Obama: A Secular Nation

"NOT a Christian nation, NOT a Jewish nation, NOT a Muslim nation".

Those are Mr. Obama's words. If not a religious nation what are we then? A secular nation?

Now why doesn't that surprise me. After his visit to Europe where religion is a thing of the past, and with Mr. Obama's ideas of a Global nation, it makes sense why he would say something like this.

Mr. Obama needs a history lesson on the founding of our nation by Christians. Maybe if he were to recite the Pledge of Allegiance he might rethink his ideology.

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands: one Nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all."

Interesting fact: The Knights of Columbus, the world's largest Catholic fraternal service organization, in New York City felt that the pledge was incomplete without any reference to a deity.[4] Appealing to the authority of Abraham Lincoln, the Knights felt that the words "under God" which were from Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address were most appropriate to add to the Pledge.
